From POWA to Grateful.

Last week, I was awarded a certificate of active participation in search engine optimization(SEO) content writing training. It was an intense training organized by POWA, a digital agency and academy that trains individuals and helps them to acquire relevant digital skills.

 Now you ask what is SEO, and how does it apply to you?

 Search engine optimization is the process of maximizing the visibility of websites in search engines in the results they generate and getting the optimum level of relevant traffic directed to one's site; thus, the word optimization is used. 

If you own a website page or account associated with Google or Bing, you'll probably need your website to appear when people look up for what is related to what you share on your website through the search engines. 

For instance, when a person wants to find something, they type in a word or phrase called a search query, then the search engine compares that query to its catalog of web pages pulling out the best matches to show the searcher. These are displayed on search results page. SEO maximizes the visibility of websites in search engines by optimizing the websites so that they can readily appear when people search for them.
